House + Family = Happiness
Casa da Maestra is a house of local stone built by our parents with their own hands almost 100 years ago, gradually adapted and updated over time to make room for the family.
It is, above all, a family home. When the nest began to empty, we turned it into a holiday rental so that other people could enjoy what was built with so much care and effort over the years.
It sits in the Barbanza region, three kilometres from the beach and from Rianxo, a small fishing port on the Ría de Arousa with shops, a pharmacy, banks and a fish market. The whole house is rented out, for 4 to 12 guests, with 5 bedrooms and 8 beds: ideal for families with children or groups of friends looking for a few quiet, restful days.

The house
Two-storey stone house with a balcony, built almost a century ago and surrounded by a fenced garden. Private parking and paved access.
The garden
A large lawn garden with fruit trees, swings and hammocks for enjoying the outdoors. Bicycles are available for guests.
Barbecue and porch
Porch with a pergola, a stone table and a built-in barbecue for eating outside on long summer days.
The kitchen
Traditional kitchen with a stone lareira hearth, fitted with dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The house has two kitchens.
The living room
Living room with television, a library and a collection of board games. Central heating throughout the house.
The dining room
Dining room with a large wooden table and an adjoining glazed sitting room, with space for the whole group to sit together.
The bedrooms
Five bedrooms and eight beds, with television in the rooms. A cot is available on request.
The bathrooms
En-suite and shared bathrooms, one of them accessible, plus a whirlpool bath to unwind after a day out.
Games room
Billiards, table football and games for rainy days: the favourite room of the little ones (and the not so little).
